Head of Software Development

Location: Kings Cross, North London (N1)

Salary: From £80,000 to £90,000 per annum

Impactive It have currently partnered with a unique client in London who are on the search for a Head of Software Development.

We are looking to hire a Head of Software Development to manage a small team of developers. Your main role will be to coordinate all software development of our clients tech stack. You will be expected to have had a proven track record of leading agile development software projects working to, at times, tight deadlines.

One of the key functions of the role will be to take a brief from other business pillars and alongside the technical architect and CTO translate those functions into actionable code and actions. You will then be expected to ensure consistent, accurate delivery against agreed priorities.

As a key part of the senior tech team, you will be encouraged to provide feedback and innovation across all elements of the tech stack, as part of our continuous improvement plan.
You will also be responsible for making sure all code is written using industry best practices in terms of usability, security and testing.

Requirements:

· Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written)

· Experience in leading development teams using Agile Development Methodologies.

· Strong experience of automated code testing and providing a quality product.

· Knowledge of Modern /Cloud Technologies

· Strong knowledge of PHP / JavaScript

· Participate in code reviews
