Our Founder & Managing Director, Matt Nicholson, is on a mission to create a recruitment agency who can achieve their goals without compromising their values – along with doing it in a personable way. Having worked in IT Recruitment for many years he has experienced his fair share of interesting experiences. Some of which we talk about, some we really brush under the rug. Matt is not your traditional image of what you think a recruiter should be. He wears his heart on his sleeve and isn’t afraid to show that. He has worked with all sizes that organisations come in and has had nothing but amazing references from all.
We wanted to create a separate part about our donations to charity. This is an area that we all hold closely to our hearts, and with the work we are doing we want to help as much as we can.
We donate to charities from every fee receive that is split between our candidates and clients choice.

Over 7+ years Recruitment experience sourcing roles within all the IT sector – Software Development, Software Testing, Project / Programme Management, Data & AI, Infrastructure / Cloud, Architecture, Business Growth.
Having many years in IT Recruitment, in 2020 Matt decided to make that year something to remember other than lockdowns and guidelines. So, he created Impactive IT, a new addition to the IT Recruitment world and big advocates of modernising the traditional recruitment model.
Besides recruiting his is a big fan of all things sport, having played Football to a professional standard, Rugby League & now Darts. Also a big Liverpool fan!
Jag joins our team after three years at decision intelligence consultancy HyperFinity. During his time at the Leeds-based scale-up, he played a dual role, doubling the size of their business through key hires in data science, analytics, and engineering, while also securing new clients such as Asda and DFS.
Before HyperFinity, Jag spent three years in recruitment, where he built a highly successful data division. He is eager to replicate this success at Impactive.
Outside of building high-performing data teams, Jag is a die-hard Leicester City fan, having held onto his season ticket since 2003! Staying active is very important to him, so when he’s not recruiting, you’ll find him out stomping concrete or honing his skills in the world’s fastest-growing sport, Padel!
He can’t advise on how you should best approach an interview or give any tips or tricks; however he certainly will calm your nerves!

Ollie is a front-end developer with ten years experience building websites and applications for the likes of Lloyds Banking Group, BAE Systems and Channel 4 😲
Having worked in agencies and enterprise development teams Ollie has a wealth of knowledge in various aspects of software development, UX & design, performance and accessibility.
We have already done some amazing work with Ollie last year and can’t wait to work with him again on future projects.
Andy is an IT Project Manager and has worked in Project Delivery for blue chip clients including Arup, Barclays, Novartis, Sopra Steria and XL Catlin. He has delivered major projects for the College of Policing, Department of Education and UCL.
The direction I want to take this business is a direction most haven’t gone down and Andy bought into the model I want to build. Some words from Andy;
